*edited August 2014for me it took a little bit over an hour to download and install. depends on your Internet connectionBut when you lunch it -takes seconds to load and it runs very smoothly. You also can skip the Intro by right clicking on the mouse like in sims 3 This will alow you to load the demo even faster

It's hopeless.First of all, what you're doing could get you bannned, at the person that's sharing their account could have it suspended.But since they've shared it with more than one person at a time, it would seem you're being logged out of the account every time someone else is logging in. None of you will be able to download it because just like it keeps kicking you out, you're kicking other people out when you sign in again. You're all fighting over the same account.
*edited August 2014Also, how does it even work, don't you need to be logged into said account to actually play the demo? So what happens when that person takes back control of their account and changes their details so you can't access it again?

I don't think she's using someone's account but is loosing internet connection.OP. if you have wifi in your house - turn it off and use your normal internet to not share your internet speed with other devices you have in house - this might help to download it faster
*edited August 2014It's not my internet. Origin doesn't allow two people to be on an account at the same time, so basically each time someones downloading it, the other person clicks download, so that kicks the other person off.

*edited August 2014It took my laptop awhile to download it. That is only because I am out of state for the summer and am heading back home on release day for the sims 4, so I am stuck with my laptop for now. I randomly got the idea to download Origin on my laptop (because I play the sims on my PC). It took me about four hours to download it, but that is only because I took a nap while it was downloading and my computer went into 'sleep mode'. When it did that it paused the downloading. But if I didn't fall asleep it would have taken about 30-45 minutes. Once I got into the demo it worked very well and there were, and still are, not issues.I am so pleased with the CAS system, and I cannot wait to see the rest of the game on September 2nd!!
